On the joyous occasion of Dussehra, the festival that represents the victory of good over evil, students and staff of azad Public School celebrated Dussehra in school with great enthusiasm and energy. A special assembly was conducted, in which Principal Dr. Nitesh Kumar Singh spoke on the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated in the country. Dussehra, the celebration of good over evil is observed with much fanfare all over the country. The most symbolic event of the festival is the burning of Ravan effigy, with an elaborate display of fireworks and crackers. And this year, our Art & Craft Teacher Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma and her team made a huge effigy to be burnt on the eve of Dussehra. The students were told to burn the following evils:-female foeticide, violence, poverty, dowry, terrorism, riots, inequality, illiteracy and drugs in the effigy. School President Mr. Shariq Azad blessed the all the students, and inspired them to follow the path of truth.
