It is essential to teach our kids about 15th august Independence Day because it is a day that commemorates the birth of our nation. India is a land of rich culture and diversity, and by teaching our children about this day, we can instil a sense of pride in their country. Additionally, understanding the historical significance of Independence Day will help them better appreciate the sacrifices made by our forefathers to achieve freedom. Finally, observing 15th August Independence Day allows us to reflect on the progress made by India as a nation over the past several years.
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and patriotism in the school with the hoisting of the flag on 15th August 2022. Students of Junior Classes presented a cultural programme that focused on the heroes of our Independence struggle. The dialogues, dances, songs and poems reminded the audience of the contributions of Neta ji, Lal-Bal-Pal, Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari and several other nationalist leaders of the freedom movement. The programme was an opportunity for learning about our city as well as about our unsung leaders, a fitting tribute during the celebration of the 75 years of Indian Independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
