azad Public School celebrated its Annual Day with a display of immense talent in order to glorify the 25 years of academic excellence and existence of this institution which is setting standards across the NCR. December 04 was a much-awaited day when the students, staff and parents were filled with zeal to witness the extraordinary endeavours of the students, who worked enthusiastically for this occasion. The programme took place on the school premises.
The magnificence of the day was made stronger by the ADG Mr. Vijay Prakash Ji, Airport Sector, New Delhi as the Chief Guest. The school was honoured to receive the District Magistrate Mr. Chandra Prakash Ji, Bulandshahr as the Guest Of Honour and the SSP Mr. Shlok Kumar Ji as the Esteemed Guest. The event was also graced by the principals of eminent schools of Bulandshahr and other dignitaries of the city were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with the rendition of Saraswati Vandana which was followed by the commencement of ‘आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव’. The guests were honoured by the respected Chairman of the school, Mr. Wasiq Azad, Prisedent of School Mr. Shariq Azad and the School Vice-President Mrs. Neha Wasiq Azad and Mrs. Nisha Shariq Azad. It was followed by lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. Dr. Nitesh Kumar Singh, Principal, extended a warm welcome to the respected luminaries and hailed the event.
The annual fiesta was marked by a series of exotic talents thus creating the festive mood. The musical fiesta by the school choir group was the first programme to set the mood of the audience. After the musical gala, the scintillating performance in conjunction of various dance forms by students was greeted with thunderous applause by the audience.
Speaking on the Occasion, the Principal of azad Public School, Dr. Nitesh Kumar Singh, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the guests for taking out time from their busy schedules to be a part of the celebration. He apprised the house with school’s unflinching efforts to cater to the holistic development of a child’s personality. He also presented a brief report on the notable achievements of the students in academics and co-curricular events which have brought glory to the school.
Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Prakash Ji, was then invited on the dais to address the gathering. He was exhilarated to see the beautiful blend of the various art forms. He congratulated APS fraternity for being the trailblazer which has achieved many educational feats not only in the city but also on National and International Canvas. The programme culminated with the Vote of thanks by Master Prince, a student of class XII D.
