Tagore House, through the splendid launching rack of Morning Assemblies, served as
and agent of change, enkindling and developing the social qualities latent in every child. The
vision of Tagore House it to exude pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting
ambition, conviction and determination. As the colour of Tagore House embodies the Red
colour which signifies the colour of the sun: a symbol of energy, power, passion and spirit,
radiating its vitalizing life-force into human beings. Likewise, the students of Tagore House
throughout the year present multifarious theme-based assemblies to foster in the students a
sense of collective responsibility towards society and solidarity. The students of Tagore
House vividly sketched the idea of “dreaming big things with a heart as large as the world.
Placing your heart on things greater than this world can offer.” The morning Assemblies
furnish as a remarkable platform to unfold the true potential of every student honing and
refining their intrinsic talents.

AZAD HOUSE

Azad quote from Atharava Veda says, ‘Unity can only come when there is better coordination and mutual understanding in the society; when there is no friction of thoughts and
clash of ideologies. We should therefore follow the ideals established by the scholars and
engage ourselves in virtuous deeds.’ Azad House takes the responsibility to lead and inspire
others in working towards valued goals. Azad House children honour the intrinsic value of
self, others and the world they share. Integrity aligns their actions and values. The house
proudfully acts with purposeful reflection to uphold its vision and mission.
For education to be holistic and to develop Leadership among children these Azadians
prove that leadership comes not just from reading complex theories in voluminous books but
also comes from the ability to take initiatives. The students of Azad house set the focused and
joyful time of the year by presenting manifold assemblies on multifarious topics that edifices
students to confront the real life issues.

GANDHI HOUSE

The reason abaft christening a house named ‘GANDHI’, APS wanted to propel its
students from apathy to possibility (as said by M.K Gandhi) and transform the way they
perceive their own capabilities. Gandhi House awakens the students to new possibilities by
allowing them to transcend their ordinary experiences and limitations. The house is a
compilation of a complete program for result enhancement, resource nurturing and
assessment. Apart from the number of other invigorating activities, morning assemblies have
always remained and the number of other invigorating activities, morning assemblies have
always remained an integral and indispensable part of the soul of APS. It plays a significant
role to provide an unceasing exposure to the students to attain complete knowledge for
holistic development. It also enables our students to harness their abilities and to think
beyond the edge. Hence, every year Gandhi House comes up with many knowledge
provoking ideas.

NEHRU HOUSE

“Success is a simple measurement of the commitment, sacrifice and pain one endures
to achieve a dream.”
The greatest glory of a competition is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall
and its apparent example was this year which was full of ups and downs, success and
failures; still with complete determination and zeal to fight, students strived hard to keep their
house flag high. Every year brings challenges and responsibilities. Nehru House always
believes in going ahead and living up to the challenges with all might majesty. The greatest
strength of the house lies in the sheer instinctive way of continuously reinventing to always
stand out in a crowd. Under the able guidance of the teacher, the students of Nehru House put
in their supreme efforts in bringing laurels to the house. They participated in all the events and
competitions with a determination to be the best and strived hard throughout the academic
session with great fervor. They secured good points excelling in sports and also good
positions in other extra-curricular and co-curricula activities. It was the result of preparation,
hard work and learning from failure.
